Yes, though is it art!????
Cool to hear a different voice around here.
Oh shit I just got this mental collage of Goichi Suda switching from videogames to fashion.
edit - Is it cool to be a fashion designer celebrity? I have a really hard time picturing that. _________________ **liverjournal**myspace**mixi

Nice review. Since videogame reviews have moved elsewhere can LPN do reviews of everything else? _________________

i vote fast-food establishments
"The half-eaten Steakhouse burger lay forlorn on its wrapper. I pondered what it would say if it were sentient. After all, to a burger, being half-eaten is only a job halfway done; it's a duty left unfulfilled. yet I had more important things to attend to; the fries. Once sizzling and crispy, the Steakhouse's sheer girth had turned a simple meal into an epic struggle, and the laws of thermodynamics apply to even the tastiest of food items.
I sat there, quietly eating and reflecting on the meal thusfar, when the chime sounded at the restaurant's door. Customers. I shifted my feet against the floor; my shoes making a harsh sound against the caked-on grime. I knew that sound all too well. I picked up my coat, wiped the last flecks of mustard from my beard with a complimentary napkin, and pushed open that glass door for the second time in an hour. When you do what I do, lived like I have, you get to know the sounds a bit too well. The smells and the tastes, they're part-and-parcel, yet the sounds are what stay in your head.
The sounds are what you remember."

No you can't review food. The whole gimmick of New X Journalism is that you talk about what you ate immediately before and immediately after experiencing X instead of X itself. If X is also food TIME PARADOX _________________ " ! " -Harpo Marx |
